so lucky we caught the exhibition valentina: american couture and the cult of celebrity at the museum of the city of new york. definitely was a must see. valentina was the twentieth century’s first american fashion designer celebrity. she dressed audrey hepburn, greta garbo, katharine hepburn... just to name a few. valentina also modeled her own designs + looked flawless in them. she truly was her own brand.
