... those were the days, banana republic catalogs. beautiful imagery printed on matte paper stock. thanks to rachel at black eiffel, i dug this one up from my archives when i saw her post on old banana ads. definitely miss receiving them in the mail...

Oh thank you, thank you, thank you! I remember this ad campaign (fall 2002). These are just as beautiful as I remember them. They had a stack of these catalogs(or lookbooks) on their checkout counters and I remember grabbing one(lost it after all these years). Is it just me or do these ads perfectly convey the essence of Banana Republic?
