hearst castle, part two / chapter twenty-four

... the "roman pool" it's called. can you imagine jumping into the pool from that diving platform? and the floor to ceiling mosaic glass tiles... many of them are clear with fused gold inside. you really have to be there to experience the colors. shimmering blues and gold all around. truly breathtaking. enjoy your weekend!

    I went there when I was 16! I'll never forget it, I decided right then that I would marry a millionaire and live in a castle myself someday. Hmmmm........where is that castle anyway. Oh well, I'm happy! I love your blog!
